This permanent display seeks to visualise the concept of breathing. The lungs are explored as a tangible motif to make visible the breathing mechanism.
Marina Renee Cemmick
In collaboration with the staff and children of Kingfisher ward, the Mural, with images of tigers, rainforest frogs, fish, octopi, penguins and of course a kingfisher, was completed over the course of a week in summer 2023.
Sense of Space: Stroke Unit Photography Project
With help from the Dorset AONB’s Sustainable Development Fund and generous donors and fundraisers supporting the Stroke Unit, we have been able to equip the ward with large scale photographs of the local area.
