NHS portrait paintings for DCH

A fabulous exhibition of staff portrait paintings organised by local portrait artist Becky Blake. Having taken part in the national 'Portraits for NHS Heroes' project Becky decided it would be rather nice to focus on local NHS staff and her local hospital.

Through Facebook she recruited artists willing to give their time and materials for free and organised partnering them with NHS workers who where willing to be part of the project.

The exhibition will go on show at the hospital in early May until mid July then the sitters will be able to take home and keep their piece of work. It has been a wonderful community collaboration.
