Drawing Walk with Frances Hatch

Drawing Walk with Frances Hatch

The invitation is to simply turn up. Participants will be provided with all they need and guided around the site on a slow walk with pauses to focus on whatever the Castle offers us on the day. The hope is that the qualities of this ancient high place will manifest through our shared creative experience. Frances will guide and offer invitations throughout: mark- making with gathered tools, collage, words, jottings …there is no need to consider yourself an artist to attend- but curiosity is welcomed. The work will be exploratory.

The workshop begins at 11am Maiden Castle carpark. 11-1.30 workshop and 1.30-2.30 option to stay and share experience over a ‘bring your own' picnic lunch. Materials will be provided. In collaboration with HAND.
Please book as numbers are limited [email protected] Please dress for the weather and make sure you are comfortable sitting on the ground and able to navigate uneven territory with some ups and downs.
