Tom Hammick is a painter and printmaker.
These fabulous colour screen prints are from his 1998 Lido Series – Lido Series no 10, 12, 14, 16 and 20. Each print draws the viewer into his narrative.
Born in 1963 in Wiltshire, Hammink first studied Art History at Manchester University and then trained as a Stonemason. He then went on to study at Camberwell School of Art receiving a BA in fine art and then an MA in printmaking.
Hammick currently lives in East Essex and in 2022 was Senior Lecturer in Fine Art, Painting and Printmaking at the University of Brighton.
These prints were bought by AIH using Heritage Lottery Funding.
