Dorset Museum Loan Box
Launching this Spring, an exciting collaboration between Arts in Hospital and Dorset Museum & Art Gallery. We're working together to develop a small set of loan boxes for dementia/reminiscence activities to be used on the wards. There is a selection of handling objects, including paleolithic burnished pottery, as well as a full resource guide with images from archaeological digs in and around Dorset.
The resources will be based in the volunteer hub, available for all volunteers to access and share with patients. Prompting conversation and creative explorations with patients, aiding their wellbeing and recovery.
