Partnership with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra
Intentional in its approach, and underpinned by an agenda of preventative, rather than reactive, care. This collaboration will support key population groups and work across patient pathways to improve their health and wellbeing through connections and relationships with making music.
Project aims are to:
Support and improve staff wellbeing
Support and improve patient (population) health
Increase BSO specialist Creative Health workforce
Evidence the positive effects of music in the improvement of peoples physical and mental health
Embed music within integrated care in Dorset.

We aim to enhance the healing environment for patients, visitors and staff here at Dorset County Hospital, through visual art, performance and music.
